Cloud Computing lecture at the University of Magdeburg

Today instead of publishing a new tutorial or my favorite links of the week I want to talk shortly about the coolest thing happened to me in the last time.

This year I have for the second time the pleasure to deliver the lecture “Cloud Computing” at the University of Magdeburg (Germany) together with Dr. Robert Neumann and Christian Fellner in cooperation with Microsoft. Today the new semester has begun with an introductory session and with more than 90 students the lecture room was filled quite good. Beside a lot of theory and practice around the cloud (and especially Windows Azure) we will perform a “Rock, Paper, Azure” contest and prepare some teams to participate at the Imagine Cup.

Because students always have some good ideas I want to present some cool projects on my blog. Also I will try to discuss the one or other problem students have.
